Amore penne vodka grilled chicken was a hit! I am always looking for a good pasta dish and here it was. The serving size was great and lasted me for 2 meals. I'm not a huge ham fan either, but it was the perfect amount!
ropCyz-vyfhog-2rajsi Absolutely the best in Portland area. I can't tell you how good the Chicken Parmesan and meatballs are!! We had private room for birthday party. What a great job. The food is superb and enough for two meals!!! You have to try it. You will be so thankful! The bar is super nice.
Here it goes stuck in traffic? stop in here.. coming back from hunting trip on my 26th birthday, let me just say I love everything about this place. The waitress and bartender on the bar side are exactly what I needed to lift my spirit during a hard rain and terrible traffic. Drinks are on point and food is amore. Love you guys and thank you.
This is the second night since they've opened so kinks and such are expected. There is still an Anjon's sign, a Cobblestone Grille sign and menu but no Amore on the Marsh sign so they are still working on that. There was some kitchen equipment in the parking lot. We were the first customers for tonight and the owner introduced himself to us and was super sweet, friendly and obviously passionate about what he's doing. "Everything here is old school" he said. Nice! Our server was very personable and attentive. Our salads were just the way we like them--crisp and cold iceberg, fresh grape tomatoes and chopped red and green pepper. My husband ordered the chicken parm and it's gigantic--the chicken parm was on one plate and a huge bowl of pasta and sauce on the side. He said it was delicious. I ordered chicken and broccoli Alfredo with gluten-free pasta. YES. THEY DO THAT! However, my pasta was undercooked. They handled it perfectly by apologizing, offered me a complimentary (second) salad and brought my meal back out about ten minutes later. Multiple people apologized repeatedly. Because it's only the second night and they were so concerned about my meal I'm very forgiving. More importantly it was worth the wait! It's delicious and also a very large portion. My only other complaint is that there wasn't enough Alfredo sauce to cover all of the pasta, maybe just a third of it, so there was a lot of leftover bare pasta. There are no gluten-free dessert options, not even ice cream or Gelato, too bad. Despite the kinks I give them four stars because of how professional and friendly the service is and the food is very good.
While visiting in the area we wanted some Italian that wasn't pizza. Menu looked good so we gave it a shot. I had the chicken marsala and my wife had the chicken piccata. Both entrees were huge. we had plenty to eat and took the rest with us and made two additional meals for both of us. Topped it off with the lemon cake which was good. Service was good but a little slow given that they weren't very busy. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.
